LAUNCH PARTY HIGHLIGHTS, JUNE

We were delighted to celebrate the launch of Art Park Harrow this June, marking a new chapter for creativity and community in Harrow. Read for a quick blog post celebrating the launch party highlights.
Situated in the heart of the borough, Art Park transformed an underused area of the car park into a vibrant Meanwhile Space, bringing together art, culture, and local people. Over the opening period, the park hosted a variety of exhibitions, workshops, performances, and community projects, giving visitors opportunities to explore, learn, and connect.

Celebrating the London Festival of Architecture
Art Park was a destination in this year's London Festival of Architecture 2025, Art Park hosted a series of events that engaged the local community and visitors alike:
Interactive Workshop on Community Engagement In collaboration with Make Good and Global Generation, participants explored how people-driven engagement shapes places. The workshop offered practical exercises and discussions on the role of Meanwhile spaces in London and beyond, inspiring attendees to think differently about community-led projects.
Exhibitions & Open Studios Local artists and makers brought the site to life, showcasing their work and transforming the park into a hub of creativity on the theme of 'Voices'. We were also lucky enough to have Harrow College students showcase their work in one of the gallery pods.
Panel Discussions: We had youth-led live podcast and panel discussion from NOMAD and another youth-led panel discussion from Ignite Youth. Our launch day had a panel discussion on incremental urbanism from Jan Kattein Architects.
Launch Day: The week of events culminated in a day of activities at Art Park, featuring the talented musicians from NOMAD and The Five Points Project, a DJ set from CL__TR, mural painting in the alleyway and arts and crafts across the site.

A Place for People
Art Park Harrow became more than just a space - it was a place for connection, creativity, and curiosity. Residents, creatives, and visitors came together to reimagine what a public space can offer, celebrating Harrow’s local talent and community spirit while boosting local voices.
